remember April 1st and Google release a series of pranks to take part in April fool's day? We one of those pranks was Gmail Motion, using your own body motion you could take control of your Gmail inbox. Clearly this was intented as a joke and lot of people like me found this entertaining. However the folks over at ICT MxR Lab's thought it was an interesting idea and developed it for real!
Yes thats right! by using the Microsofts Xbox Kinect controller they managed to hack the Gmail Motion to actually work how Google intended it too, with the same motions they mentioned for it to open, reply and send email. This is not the first time the MxR Lab chaps have had hacked the Kinect to work with the overly popular World of Warcraft game.
