Apple has indicated that Steve Jobs will participate in the opening keynote address at the company’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC), which kicks off on June 6.
In a statement, the company says that Jobs will be joined by “a team of Apple executives,†who will announce Lion, iOS5 and iCloud, the company’s long-rumored cloud-based services offering.
Jobs has been on medical leave since January but has remained on as CEO, with COO Tim Cook leading Apple's day-to-day operations in the interim. Jobs, who also took a leave of absence in 2009 following a liver transplant, also delivered the keynote at Apple’s iPad 2 event in March.
