Orchestra - Scaling your PHP Applications

If your looking for an easy solution to deploy and scale your PHP applications, look no further than Orchestra.io. This Irish based company has built a very nice little application that takes your repository from places like github and uploads it in to the Orchestra cloud. Built on Amazon Web Services, it
integrates with your workflow, autoscales up and down and gives you
extra power with third-party addons.

Still, it is to early to tell if this is a hit or miss opportunity for Orchestra to take off. It is already doing the rounds on Hacker News with a mixture of comments both for and against the idea. Already the pricing of the application is coming under heavy fire as deploying your own PHP application is very simple, but the idea of Orchestra is for fast scaling without the hassle, leaving the developer to do what they do best: code. Users can now sign up for a 'FREE' account as of now. Orchesta offers another two tiers of account type: Basic and Elastic. You can check out the pricing structure here.

Orchestra is made by echolibre, an Irish company who are contributors to the PHP community, and creators of FRAPI, an Open Source API Framework.
