I recently went down to London to attend some of the marketing seminars run by Google and Facebook and one question that was asked to an audeince of around 500 people was: "Who is using Quora", the response was suprising about 5 hands showed, the fact that around 495 people had never even heard of Quora was strange, especially as these are budding tech and digital marketeers should be keeping their eyes on whats growing in the Industry.
For those of you that have never heard of Quora, Quora is beautifully designed, elegantly executed Q&A service that may burning up the
blogs, but how is the site performing in the real world? The lovely chaps over at Kissmetrics posted:
'the social Q&A platform, is beginning to get its sea legs. There are
so many ways to use Quora, well beyond just asking and answering
questions. Some people like to answer and ask questions. Others like to
vote on answers or neatly file similar questions into “topics.†Still
others bypass the Q&A platform and use Quora to private message
other users who often have similar interests. We’ve created this
infographic with the help of Semil Shah, who is a very active user and fan of Quora.'
