Digital marketing has by far gained a lot of popularity by various companies. The main reason of the increase in popularity of marketing and advertising online via the technique called digital marketing is that it gives a lot more exposure than other traditional marketing means. Digital marketing is basically when you are using digital or electronic means such as television, radio, mobiles and the ever popular internet. These days more and more companies are utilizing the internet to advertise their products due to the fact of the large usage of the internet by people.

Google is the most widely used search engine and Yahoo and Bing do not even come into its league. This is evident from the fact that Google comprises of 66 % of the total search engine traffic while Yahoo and Bing follow with 17 % and 11 % respectively. Due to their very low percentages when compared to Google both Yahoo and Bing have decided to join hands and increase their trafficking rate.
The partnership between Yahoo and Bing is quite beneficial for both sides. Since Yahoo has been in the business of search engine for many years it can share its experience with the relatively new Bing. On the other hand, Bing can give Yahoo a fresh face and newer innovative ideas.
Other than just displaying results and improving search quality, Yahoo and Bing will focus on their advertising services together. Improving and enhancing digital marketing is one of their aims. Moreover, as it is a relatively new partnership and is in its initial stage, both companies would start with displaying results in Standard English. However, addition of more languages can be expected in the future as both companies would aim for an international target.
Google has yet to show any reaction to this partnership and many anticipate that Google would definitely try to maintain its top position with fighting back by introducing even better services.
